Playful Visitation

Father I see that You just want to be a friend to us,

no matter if we are alone in a field or on a crowded bus.

You want us to lead a life of servant-hood,

doing our own things grins trouble, that’s never good.

As You work in us, calming our spirit and mind down,

we slowly begin to see our coheir-ship that comes with a crown.

For everything You do for us, we thank You for coming,

through praise of song or just a talk, even when we are humming.

How You just wanna sit with us or mess around,

our joy in You is something great we have found.
